Amy Scheiner holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from Stony Brook University and a BA in English from Boston University. She teaches creative writing, composition, literature, and works as a college essay advisor.
She has taught Introduction to Creative Writing and Forms of Creative Nonfiction at Stony Brook University, Introduction to Literature and Introduction to Writing at the Community College of Philadelphia, and Introduction to Creative Writing and Memoir I at Gotham Writers Workshop.
Amy is the co-editor of Moonlighting by Lit Pub. She was a participant at Sewanee Writers’ Conference and Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center Summer Workshop, and has been a reader for CRAFT and The Maine Review.
